Dark Angels warlord traits
My copy of the Dark Angels codex arrived this morning. In keeping with the cards I made for the rulebook and 6th edition, here are the new DA warlord traits.

The Midas Crusade blog
Taking a lead from one of my favourite 40K blogs, The Aleph Sector Campaign, I have decided to scrap the Midas crusade mini campaign idea and instead use the club games as the basis for a narrative campaign using the setting that I came up with. I have decided to make an extra blog for it to keep track of events.

League games at the club will be worked into the narrative by me, but if any players there are playing a friendly game then let me know and we can work it into the story. Likewise if you want to ensure that a specific faction claims a world then hunt down a player who is also contesting, and challenge them. Lets see where it takes us.

Dark Angels preview pt 2
In talking a friend last night about the upcoming league he made a comment about plasma cannon terminators, bit I discounted it as a silly idea. A few minutes ago I saw this and ... wow.

2013 - week 1
This thursday the club starts up again and the Sons of Tantalus have an ork infested world to purge in a 1500 point game. After losing so heavily to the orks last time I am going to be trying some nice new tactics. I think tomorrow will be spent building a few new units for my army in preperation.
February starts the new league as well. I'm not playing due to the length of time it will take with an extra player but I am looking forward to it. I just hope that we don't have any more arguments over Forge World. Everyone knows what's what, so that should be the end of it.
I'm hoping that 2013 will be a good year for Warhammer 40k!
